Opis : Drug-cartel fueled violence has turned into a war in Mexico, with thousands of deaths and the government battling well-armed gangs whose military-quality weapons come mostly from U.S. dealers. CNN's Anderson Cooper reports.

the violence in mexico is only a concern the the U.S. (NOT A THREAT). This is the country with the most armed citizens and one of the best armed forces in the world :)

Send the "French Foreign Legion" to mexico. With the right amount of cash they will fight for any cause (Mercenaries). They wil not be convinced to join the cartels because of there "Strict Discipline". And they are more than capable of wiping out ALL the cartels and corrupt police within a couple months.

In all this game, the devil is losing and at the end will be accused of everything because GOD don't want any rivals. Conclusion: live at the full in the freedom of GOD (praying in a right form, following the INSTRUCTIONS in the Bible - keeping the 10 commandments - including keeping the Saturday as the 7th day etc.) instead of in the incapacity and limited power of devil because he is just a temporary puppet. Jesus Christ is our savior and our hope!

What the lady says from 7:58-8:19 is very true and it not only applies to the Mexican goverent but to the American goverment as well. The war on drugs is not a war to be won the goverment wants the war to be SUBSTAINED which means the USA govermen racks in Billions of dollars, arming both sides of the conflict while giving themselves draconian police powers to limit your civil libertis in this "war on drugs".

@toob247 Your ignorance is astounding! Your statement is incorrect, before Iraq was attacked, they were broke and poor. Their economy was in ruins because of previous costly wars and a bad curropt government. They had some of the poorest infrastructure, no high rise buildings, no major city that was known at a world status. Mexico on the other hand has all that. They have a powerful economy and a strong infrastructure Mexico is not a shithole , it may be a very dangerous place but not a shithole

|
@AztecPrince95 Wrong Iraq before we bombed it was way beyond mexico in wealth and modernization period. more would leave if they could afford it , mexico a shithole is an opinion. Glad I wasnt born there

@wdboy55 Your absoutely right and I am victim and eye witness to war crimes housing authority in Olympia, wa sold lead based paint underground for underground bases. Mexican women and children were trafficked right through wholesale florists (brush picking) around the Pierce county and Olympia area -wholesale florists in Yelm, and Graham washington also trucking in those to kill what good cops and military we have remaining.

@AztecPrince95 not that type of war I mean like both countries fighting with Mexican's cartels beacuse also affects USA.. and the problem is from both sides that's what I mean =)

@JayRoTheBuddha Not only that, but also the lack of support from the Mexican gov't. If the Mexican gov't gave a shit about its lower class citizens, they would have no need to migrate to the US or to join the Cartels. For the poor, there are no good paying jobs so most just go and join up. Its sad but thats how a 3rd world country functions.

|
@sokokoko7 Its not for drugs, its for money. Most of the members are dirt poor people who were starving to death until they joined up. Mexico is a corrupted ass country that can care less about their poor. Federales use to rob the poor for the little they had, IMO they are the real terrorists. I'm not in anyway saying the Cartels are good, but for once the gov't is getting what it deserves, AN ASS WHOOPING! ESPECIALLY the damn Federales.

Theres an interview where one of the drug lords states he has had lunch with Obama.

@toob247 Just because some people leave Mexico to migrate to the U.S does not make Mexico in any way shape or form similar to the Middle East. Not even close, that doesn't make Mexico a shithole. Only a small number, of the Millions and Millions of Mexicans leave. Mexico is still a powerful and industrialized place. Even in the video you could see the differnce between Mexico and Iraq. And I'm not Mexican.
